Here’s a bit of catch up –
At the recent AGM the committee was re-elected for the 2014/15 season – thanks to those people for putting their hands up – however several of the committee indicated that this will be their last year – so the club will need some new people for the following year- talk to committee members about what’s involved if you’re interested.

Leon Griffin Raced the Eagleman 70.3 Sunday- he reports “I managed to snag a podium with 3rd place in a pretty solid field. Battled back from a slow start to mow a few down on the run while collecting fastest run but couldn’t catch eventual winner Andrew Starkywictz and runner up Tim O’Donnell.
Had a good battle with Olympic medalist and recent IM Texas winner Bevan Docherty during the run but might have been a little fresher in the end.”
And finally a safety alert – when riding at dawn and dusk and night time please ensure you have working and well charged lights back and front and highly visible clothing – had a report of someone on a tri-bike (unknown) riding in Golden Square without any lights – we want all our members back for the upcoming season.
