So time for a brief July update from the triathlon club….
Its’ time to bust out the winter gear (yes -2.5 degrees this morning) and ramp up the training as it is only two months until the start of the season on Sept 21st!
For those who have driven up Simpson’s Rd recently you will have seen the major works for the upgrade of the footy/netball/bowls facilities. The tri club’s been advised that the car park will not be available throughout the 2014/15 series and we want all participants to park over the
Napier St (YMCA) side of the lake – we want to keep the course (i.e. Simpsons Rd) clear of cars.
In the first race of the Victorian Duathlon Series three club members participated in the 5km/20km/5km race. Ben Fahy 59.07 was second in age group, Adele Garwood 77.45 and John Rose 80.01 was third in age group.
