Orienteering in Bendigo
“Come Explore our National Park”Two free orienteering days are being held in Strathfieldsaye for people to give orienteering a go.
Saturday March 1st and March 8th from 10am to 12 noon.
Directions – from Bendigo turn right into Guys Hill Rd (2km from Reservoir Hotel) and then left into Brentwood Bvl – then follow orienteering signs.
Sunday March 16th.Mini course: 500m run, 50m swim (2 laps)
Short course: 4km run, 400m swim (16 laps)
Long course: 8km run, 800m swim (32 laps)

Macedon Ranges Challenge 2014
Tony Clarke Reserve – Macedon

This is a fantastic challenge that consists of a recreational cycling and running event that enables participants to either ride one of two cycling routes (approximately 68km / 121km) OR one of two running courses ( approximately 7km / 14km). And it’s just on the doorstep of Melbourne… a great chance to challenge Mount Macedon and see the picturesque Macedon Ranges in Autumn.
Charity Fundraising Event
Unlike most events, ALL profits will be donated to charity. There are several charities that are supported by the Rotary Club of Gisborne including MS Society. Come join us for this charity challenge – because it all goes to a great cause.
BBQ for the Challengers
To reward you for your effort and contribution we will be putting on a fantastic BBQ spread to help you refuel, reflect, and chat with other participants from the event.
Through the hard work and volunteers associated with the Rotary Club of Gisborne, this event is highly rated for its professionalism and smooth operations as highlighted by feedback from past participants.
